Paola grew up in a small Costa Rican town surrounded by mountains, in a cool climate with dairy cows. Her family moved to the city of Heredia, near the capital of San Jose, and she studied at the National University. Paola adores animals and nature and in her free time, she volunteers at an animal shelter, She also enjoys the rain, the forest, and of course, a cup of Costa Rican coffee! When she joined Herencia Verde, she relished the opportunity to get to know her small and beautiful country, connect with other people and cultures, and work toward conserving Costa Rica’s unique environment. She believes the future of the planet is indeed in our hands, and education and conservation are the first steps to sustainability.
