Our Story
Herencia Verde was founded in 2008 by friends who connected through their tourism background. They wanted to create a company that focused on nature and culture conservation in Costa Rica. Their different personalities and experiences blended to form Herencia Verde, creating a “green heritage” for future generations.

We use our experience, knowledge, and motivation to develop programs with communities, organizations, research centers, and indigenous reserves with the sole purpose of preserving the cultural and ecological heritage of Costa Rica.
